What can one say about Jiddu Krishnamurti (1895-1986) that hasn't already been said? This Telugu spiritualist, poet, writer, thinker, teacher, philosopher (and so much more) was born in Madanapalle, Andhra Pradesh. He rejected spiritual and psychological authority and was fascinated with how social structures condition individuals. He established schools and foundations teaching and sharing his philosophy all over the world. You can read more about this great man online, as there are plenty of wonderful websites devoted to his life, passions, and teachings: kfa, kinfonet, kfionline, quotes and stories.
"I feel that no one can lead another to truth, because truth is infinite; it is a pathless land, and no one can tell you how to find it. No one can teach you to be an artist; another can only give you the brushes and canvas and show you the colours to use."
