A Telugu museum (Telugu Samskrutika Niketanam) will be established atop the Kailasagiri due to a "memorandum of understanding" between VUDA and the World Telugu Federation. Additionally, an amphitheatre will be "promoted" in order to regularly display Telugu cultural shows:
"The museum is estimated to cost Rs 5 crore and will throw light on the culture and heritage of the State from Satavahana era to the modern times. The history of Telugu people will be depicted through pictures and other forms and a light and sound show will be organised to enlighten the people. The WTF will contribute Rs 3.8 crore and VUDA Rs 1.2 crore. On the occasion, Venkatram Reddy said the light and sound show will be conducted in English also for the benefit of foreigners and non-Telugu people visiting the hill resort."
