Bollywood Actress Marries Telugu Film Star

"Mumbai, Feb 11: Bollywood actress Namrata Shirodkar tied the nuptial knot with the south Indian hero Mahesh Babu at a simple ceremony here, her family sources today said.

Babu, a Telugu actor, married Namrata, who acted in Hindi blockbuster `Vaastav', at J W Mariott Hotel in suburban Juhu yesterday and the marriage ceremony was attended by close friends and relatives of Shirodkar, the sources said.

Mahesh Babu is the son of Telugu actor Krishna.

Among those who attended the wedding included Namrata's sister and former Bollywood actress Shilpa Shirodkar and her husband Jay

Disney Launches Cartoon Channel in Telugu

"Walt Disney Television International, the world's largest kids and family entertainment company, on Wednesday (February 9th) formally launched 'Toon Disney', the first 24-hour Telugu language kids channel."

Telugu Channel "TV9" to start five new channels this year

"Telugu news channel TV9 is set to start five new channels by the end of this year. TV9 ,which started operations last February, plans to start news channels in Karnataka, Maharashtra, West Bengal, and Delhi.
