The Telugu Jews of India: "Yudulu"

Telugu News: Language and Literature

The Telugu Language Commission was content over the use of Telugu as the official language by district administration in Nizamabad. Commission members reviewed the use of Telugu and urged officials to increase the use of the language in their correspondence. Read here.

On Thursday a 10-foot bronze statue of legendary Vijayanagara Emperor Srikrishnadevaraya was unveiled at the Leela Mahal Centre in Tirupati. The Chief Minister will also open a week-long literary convention entitled the ‘Telugu Sahiti, Samskruti Varotsavalu’ which will be attended by a dignitaries of Telugu literature. "District Collector Praveen Prakash advised the officials to thoroughly understand the 18 chapters of Right to Information Act - 2005. As part of ‘Spandana’ on Monday, he instructed the officials to prepare hard and soft copies of the information regarding their respective departments, in Telugu and English. The copies should be sent to Gyandooth office, e-Seva centres and Rajiv Internet villages."

Famous Playback Singer P. Leela Dies
